Features

The purpose:

  • "Metrological balance", "pleasing design" and "easy replicability" get under one roof without my knowledge of things Baffle geometry , equipped …
  • ... with high quality, bargain drivers

The concept found: An 8 "/ 1" combination of Scan-Speak Discovery drivers, in a tendentially wide baffle.

The speaker was given a slight "sounding" without leaving the room of acoustical neutrality. A slight note of warmth accompanied with a decent dip around 20khz. A realy "good" sounding speaker, nothing missing in detail. Particularly impressive, the serenity with which the 22W / 4534G00, plays if he "only" has to work down to 45Hz!

  1. mmm… yes… all very well. Finished.
    Bass, yes ... enough.
Root note ... yes, also very good, minimal emphasis on the root note.
Middle ... JAAAAA, fine, sonorous, dissolving, relaxed, confident, sublime - round with corners and edges.
Transition to the tweeter ... very gentle bundling and adjustment of the tonal balance. Unbroken, garnished with fine resolution. Vocal area very balanced, tends to be more relaxed, because super analytical.
Heights: Fits, everything is there and very balanced. Nothing stands out and yet everything is there.
The Suzie_Q is not highly sophisticated and difficult, rather straightforward and clear, but never leaves you in doubt that you may lack quality.
Sounds like a good red wine tastes ... relaxed, confident and sublime.
