  1. Hi there,

In what aspect does this design / woofer differ from the regular DXT-MON? Is it lower distortion?

    Greetings,
    Arnand

    1. Hello Arnand!
No. DXT-MON-RLY has very low distortions, but not as low as DXT-MON.
The ER15RLY is just a very fine midwoofer.
DXT-MONs midwoofer is, in my opinion, outstanding in almost any respect.

      Best regards!

  2. I was allowed to hear the speaker at my house for a few days rehearsal. My current speakers are 5-inch fullrange drivers that are supported by a subwoofer. Room size is about 18qm. Due to the very narrow sweet spot of the fullrange driver I just wanted to try something different. I have to say, I was very impressed. I was already aware that a high-quality tweeter has more skills in the highs than a fullrange driver, but I was in deed amazed how much more details were audible and that absolutely balanced and long-term fit. Equally amazing, I found the other end of the frequency spectrum: the DXT-RLY really is bass capable. Maybe not the lowest octave, but what she gets out of it is dry, very contoured and punchy. Noticeable punch! I definitely did not expect that from the 15 inch woofer. The soundstage is just outstanding. The stage goes further into the depth than with my fullrange speakers with an identical impression of the width. Overall an amazing speaker and priced a mega bargain.
